It is a major educational and scholarly resources centre and wonderful gathering place to learn about and use of information technology, to write, to study, and to draw on your rich collection of print and electronic resources.
At present Library has, 32000+ books, 29900+ CDs, subscribes to 8620+ e-journals and magazines (both National and International), Book Bank (for SC/ST students), etc. Library provides eight PCs exclusively for browsing e-journals and e-Resources on various disciplines. Library is located in Annexe-2 Building of the college and occupies a carpet area of 755 sq.metres distributed in two floors.
The mission of the Library is to provide continuous access to books and knowledge in order to support educational and research activities of the parent institution. The GAT Library is an active, inviting centre for information discovery and celebration of knowledge.
Online public access catalogue provides search facility to locate books and other materials available in the library.
The Central Library has 20 computers with LAN connectivity. Users can avail previous years examinations question papers, syllabus and institutional repositories.
Library subscribed 14 databases access to over 6197 E-journals are provided to the users. E-Resource is provided in-campus and off-campus facility.
Central library arranges to borrow documents, which are not available in its collection, on inter library loan from other libraries for academic and research purpose.
